Let Us Help You Interpret Your Medical Information
Decipher Your Health is getting ready to launch a new, people-first service to help you make sense of your own medical information. Instead of sorting through websites and AI, you will be able to meet with a real healthcare professional who can walk you through your information step by step. We go that extra mile that the new AI programs can’t offer.
What this new service does
- Helps you understand your medical records and test results in clear, everyday language.
- Explains what your diagnosis means, and how it relates to your symptoms and overall health.
- Reviews your current treatments or care plans and explains what they are, why they are used, and what questions you might want to ask your doctor.
What this service does not do
- Does not give medical advice, diagnose new conditions, provide second opinions, interpret results, or recommend specific treatments.
- Does not replace your relationship with your healthcare provider or other members of your care team.
- Does not provide care coordination, referrals, or navigation services within the health system and insurance.
How it works
- You book a time to meet online with a qualified healthcare professional through a secure video visit (for example, Zoom).
- Before the visit, you can upload or share your medical records, test results, or visit notes that you want explained.
- During the session, the professional goes through your information with you, in plain language, and helps you prepare follow-up questions for your doctor if needed.
How this differs from AI tools
- This is not an automated chatbot or AI tool that generates generic medical information.
- Every session is led by a real, experienced healthcare professional who can respond to your specific situation, ask follow-up questions, and check that you truly understand.
- You get a live, two-way conversation rather than canned responses, so the focus stays on you, your concerns, and your goals.
